这部充满少女漫画风格的电影《揭，大欢喜》，是剧场名导魏瑛娟的电影处女作，也是电影导演陈宏一的第五部剧情长片。影片故事改编自莎士比亚剧作《皆大欢喜》，讲述四对恋人的爱情游戏与两代之间的爱恨交织。该片全部演员都为女性，颠覆莎士比亚时代所有角色都由男性扮演的传统。这部色彩斑斓、活力四射的影片讲述了奥兰多和罗莎琳德以及其他三对潜在情侣寻找彼此的过程。一切都发生在繁华大都市台北的一个没有网络的街区“C门町”，在那里，人们不急不躁，自觉地生活在一起。童话般的环境，神奇的相遇，神秘的信息，但同时也有打架、绑架、家仇。影片颠覆二元世界，用大量音乐和玩偶般的设计创造一个充满爱的奇观。
